We first start by moving all your web site content from your old web hosting company to our servers.
This includes any databases, scripts, and CGI programs. Some scripts and CGI programs may require
slight modifications in order to be compatible with our servers (for example, path names to script
locations may differ from the old host's servers to our servers). Next, we will test your website
under a test URL -- we encourage you to help us test the site on our servers under the test URL.
Finally, we'll create new zone files on our side which will point to our servers rather than your
old hosts servers. Next, we'll update your DNS records for your domain name so that your domain
is controlled by our name servers rather than your old host's name servers. Finally, we'll request,
in your behalf, that your old web hosting provider remove your old website, old email addresses,
and old DNS information from thier servers.
